Q: What is Virtual EVE™?

A: Virtual EVE™ is an interactive 3D virtual sex game starring a simulated virtual girl named EVE.

Q: Help, Virtual EVE™ won’t start!

A: Please make sure that your system meets the minimum system requirements. Microsoft Direct X 8.1 or above is required to run Virtual EVE™. If you've installed any modern 3D game within the last 2 years (i.e. Half Life 2), you should already have Microsoft Direct X installed on your system. Otherwise, you can download Direct X here. Also please make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card installed.

Q: Virtual EVE™ runs slowly on my computer, is there any way to increase the frame rate?

A: Please make sure that your system meets the minimum system requirements. The installed 3D graphics card has the most significant impact on performance, followed by the CPU, and the amount of available ram. Please make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card installed. If you have an older computer, running Virtual EVE™ at a lower resolution should yield a performance boost. You can change the resolution from the default 1024 X 768 by going into the options menu and selecting a lower resolution.

Q: Is there any way to skip the introductory tutorial?

A: We included the pre-game introductory tutorial to address the fact that most people won't bother to read the instructions. If you have read the instructions or have previously viewed the introductory tutorial (and are familiar with the controls), you can skip it by holding down the spacebar (to call up the contextual action menu) at any time.

Q: Does EVE get completely naked?

A: Yes, but only if you purchase the full retail version. The demo version is censored and feature limited.

Q: How much does Virtual EVE™ cost?

A: The demo is free. The full retail version is only 19.95 USD (less than the price of a pair of movie tickets!).

Q: How do I uninstall the Virtual EVE™ demo?

A: There are two simple ways to uninstall the demo. One: you can simply launch the demo installer again, then click remove program. Two: you can go into Windows Start -> Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs -> find Virtual EVE in the list and click 'remove program'.

Q: I’m having trouble downloading Virtual EVE™. (Either the download won’t initiate or I’m getting an incomplete/partially downloaded file).

A: Please check to see if you are behind a proxy server or firewall as that may interfere with your download. Temporarily disable your firewall and try downloading again. (You might also want to try right-clicking and 'save as' and choosing your desktop as the save destination).

Q: When I launch Virtual EVE™, I get this error message: 'not a valid win 32 application'.

A: The downloaded file is either incomplete or corrupted. See the previous post regarding incomplete/partial downloads. When you double click the file, you are trying to launch an incomplete (partially downloaded) file, hence the 'not a valid win 32 application' message. Try downloading the file again. Make sure the file is complete before launching.
